While textbooks provide a structured framework, incorporating real-world examples, such as news articles, movie clips, or podcasts, would enhance students’ understanding of how English is used in diverse contexts. This would also help them develop their critical thinking and analytical skills. Another area for improvement is providing more individualized feedback to students. While I strive to provide constructive comments on their work, improving the timeliness and specificity of my feedback is crucial for optimizing their learning progress. This requires better time management strategies and a more efficient system for tracking student progress.
