Places* 公園 (kouen) - park
* 学校 (gakkou) - school
* 図書館 (toshokan) - library
* 病院 (byouin) - hospital
* 駅 (eki) - train station
Objects* 本 (hon) - book
* ペン (pen) - pen
* 消しゴム (keshigomu) - eraser
* ノート (nooto) - notebook
* 机 (tsukue) - desk
Other Words* は (wa) - particle indicating the subject of a sentence
* が (ga) - particle indicating the object of a sentence
* です (desu) - polite form of the verb "to be"
Example Sentences* 公園に行きます。 (Kouen ni ikimasu.) - I'm going to the park.
* 学校に行きます。 (Gakkou ni ikimasu.) - I'm going to school.

* 彼は先生です。 (Kare wa sensei desu.) - He is a teacher.
* それは机です。 (Sore wa tsukue desu.) - That is a desk.
