Spanish Teacher for High School Needed140
Our high school is seeking a qualified and experienced Spanish teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the Spanish language, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to student success.
Responsibilities:
Teach Spanish language and culture to high school students at various levels
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state and national standards
Assess student progress through various methods, including quizzes, tests, and projects
Provide support and guidance to students outside of class, such as tutoring and extra help
Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
Stay abreast of best practices in Spanish language teaching and incorporate innovative methods into instruction
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Spanish education or a related field
Current teaching certification in Spanish
Minimum of three years of teaching experience at the high school level
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
li>Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching Spanish immersion or dual language programs
Experience with technology integration in the classroom
Knowledge of Latin American and Spanish cultures
